CSI Bangkok February Recap – it was a busy month for CSI Bangkok, marked by a series of events, networking, and an enhanced digital presence.

Engaging Webinars and Seminars
Webinar on column design using CSiCOL
The month kicked off with the “Design of Columns: Mastering Reinforced Concrete & Composite Sections Using CSiCOL” webinar on February 15, 2025. Featuring technical presentations by Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO of CSI Bangkok, and Engr. Shehezard Rifthie, Software Engineering Manager, this session provided an in-depth, step-by-step guide to the reinforced concrete and composite column design.
Attendees gained valuable insights into key concepts including capacity interaction surfaces, axial-flexural stress diagrams, and moment-curvature curves.

A seminar in Manila on Bridge Fundamentals using CSiBridge
On February 26, 2025, in collaboration with the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP), CSI Bangkok hosted the “Bridge Fundamentals and Application Using CSiBridge” seminar at the Luxent Hotel in Metro Manila.
The event brought together many bridge design professionals and structural engineers to explore the core principles of bridge engineering using CSiBridge and CSiBridge-EXPRESS software. Through hands-on learning and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable insights into modern bridge design solutions.

Official Website Launch: In February, CSI Bangkok officially launched its new website as a digital space for technical knowledge-sharing, events, news, and updates.
LinkedIn Page Activation: We also created a CSI Bangkok LinkedIn page. Follow us to stay updated with upcoming events, industry insights, and knowledge-sharing content.

In February, Dr. Naveed Anwar’s LinkedIn posts garnered significant engagement, reflecting strong interest from industry professionals. He shared three key updates:

Professional Networking
CSI Bangkok members also attended the AustCham Thailand SME Day 2025 on February 26 at the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumphini Park to gain insights and build professional connections.
Organized by the Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce, this event aimed to help Thai small businesses by tackling important issues, such as legal rules, technology, partnerships, and growth plans.

Coming up in March
With February setting the stage for an exciting year, CSI Bangkok is gearing up for more expert-led sessions, software advancements, and professional networking opportunities in March and beyond.
Here are few things to look forward to in March:
March 15: CSI Bangkok along with ACECOMS will be hosting a seminar and workshop on the Analysis and Design of Industrial Building and Warehouse Structures in Bangkok. The event will feature keynote presentations from Dr. Naveed Anwar and other experts from CSI Bangkok, alongside distinguished speakers Dr. Sutat Leelataviwat from KMUTT and Mr. Keerati Tunthasuwatana from ACECOMS.
Webinars: We will also conduct two technical webinars at the end of March. Details will be shared soon.
