On May 2, 2025, the Department of Highways (DOH) hosted a training session on parametric concrete I-girder bridge design using CSiBridge Express, organized by CSi Bangkok.
The event was held at the DOH Head Office near Victory Monument and attended by structural engineers and professionals working in bridge design and infrastructure development.
The training began with an introduction by Associate Professor Dr. Panuwat Joyklad from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Srinakharinwirot University, followed by a representative from the Department of Highways (DOH).
The session featured three technical presentations:
- Dr. Naveed Anwar introduced the integrated design process for concrete I-girder bridges using CSiBridge-EXPRESS.
- Dr. Pramin Norachan discussed various load cases and the complete design workflow in CSiBridge.
- Mr. Ashish Sapkota demonstrated rapid modeling, analysis, and design of standard I-girder bridges using the software.
The training concluded with a Q&A session, during which DOH officers discussed software details and practical aspects of bridge design.
