Thursday, 31 July 2025, CSI Bangkok welcomed eight International Faculties from universities in Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, and India. All of them had recently taken part in the Seismic Performance of Building Model Competition.
The visitors included:
- Dr. Leong Geok Wen – University of Malaya, Malaysia
- Dr. Panumas Saingam – KMITL, Thailand
- Dr. Kshitij Charana Shrestha – Tribhuvan University, Nepal
- Dr. Salman Ali Suhail – University of Lahore, Pakistan
- Ms. Jennifar Sultana – Scholars Institute of Technology and Management, India
- Mr. Pukhrambam Bidyananda Singh – Scholars Institute of Technology and Management, India
- Mr. Bharnab Bora – Scholars Institute of Technology and Management, India
Dr. Naveed Anwar welcomed the group and thanked them for their involvement in the competition. He shared CSI’s ongoing support for student learning and highlighted available resources such as software licenses and study tools for universities.
The visit focused on discussing upcoming initiatives and possible areas for collaboration in education and research.
Members from the international faculties thanked CSI for the warm welcome and support.
After the meeting, they toured the CSI Bangkok office and joined lunch at the AITCC Conference Center where everyone engaged in a mix of professional, academic, and casual discussions.
