CSI Bangkok launches office at the NUST Science and Technology Park (NSTP).

This strategic expansion fosters collaboration with NUST’s academic departments and innovative companies while strengthening CSI Bangkok’s presence in the region.

A Vision for Collaboration

During his visit, Dr. Anwar engaged with NUST leadership, including Dr. Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization, to discuss avenues for impactful partnerships. Discussions focused on joint research projects, student training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Meetings with the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES) explored innovative ideas and the integration of advanced tools into engineering education. Opportunities for internships, faculty development, and co-hosted conferences were also identified.

NUST Science and Technology Park

The NUST Science and Technology Park offers state-of-the-art resources, including its renowned supercomputing facilities, which were once ranked among the top 500 worldwide. These resources provide a solid research, innovation, and collaborative growth foundation.

Collaborative Projects

CSI Bangkok is actively involved in several projects with NUST and its partners, including:

  • NUST: AI chatbot for CSI products (Deep Learning Laboratory, National Center of Artificial Intelligence); AI detailing and transmission tower modeling (Dr. Muhammad Usman, NICE).
  • VisionRD: Image-to-model bridge components and bridge modeling.

Advancing Engineering Excellence

This initiative reflects CSI Bangkok’s commitment to advancing structural engineering through strategic partnerships. The new office at NSTP underscores its dedication to fostering practical solutions, developing knowledge-sharing initiatives, and empowering future engineers.

Dr. Anwar’s visit concluded with optimism and a shared vision for future engagement to benefit students, researchers, and the engineering community.
