In September 2025, Dr. Naveed Anwar, CEO of CSI Bangkok and Adjunct Faculty at the Asian Institute of Technology, participated three major international conferences.
Across these events, he presented on the growing role of artificial intelligence in advancing structural engineering and promoting sustainable design.
ARTISTE2025
On September 16, Dr. Naveed delivered a presentation at the ARTISTE2025 Conference, the world’s first international academic conference artificial intelligence applications in structural engineering, took place in Turin, Italy.

The event, hosted at the historic Castello del Valentino venue, brought together global experts to discuss the integration of AI in structural engineering. It featured over 60 technical sessions and numerous keynote lectures.
As part of the themed session on data-driven and AI-assisted approaches to sustainable cement-based materials and structures, Dr. Naveed gave a presentation on, “AI-Assisted Predictive Design Framework for Preliminary Design of Prestressed Concrete I-Girder Bridge Superstructure”. This topic was part of a study researched by Mr. Muhammad Hammad RiazUddin, a PhD candidate under his supervision at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
Reflecting on the experience, Dr. Naveed highlighted the decisive scope of the conference and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to exchange knowledge with international experts and industry professionals.
