Vital Strategies, a global public health consulting organization, visited CSI Bangkok on March 20 to explore potential collaboration in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and simulation.
The Vital Strategies team included Mr. Ping Hsieh, Chair of the APAC Board of Directors, and Dr. Siddhi Aryal, Regional Director for APAC.
They were joined by representatives from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Mr. Karma Rana, Institute Secretary, and Ms. Indra Kumari, Senior Program Officer from the Office of International and Public Affairs (OIPA).
The group was welcomed by Dr. Naveed Anwar and Mr. Amir from CSI Bangkok.
During the meeting, participants discussed how AI and simulation could be used to support public health and infrastructure work. Everyone showed strong interest in working together and sharing knowledge.
The visit also included a tour of the CSI office and lounge, giving the guests a more relaxed experience.
This meeting was a great first step toward building partnerships between public health and tech organizations in the region.
