Computers and Structures Inc., CSI Bangkok, and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) are jointly organized a challenge series based on building design quest using ETABS. This academic competition or hackathon was open to undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students from universities across the Asia-Pacific region but mainly Thailand.
The hackathon encouraged students to apply design concepts in a real-world scenario, promoting practical learning, creativity, building analysis and design using ETABS software.
There were a total of 60 participants from Thai universities and AIT with 5 winners from 3 categories: Undergraduate, Graduate and AIT only.

📋 Qualifying Test: 5th May – 18th May 2025 | Registered students received an email with a link to the online qualifying test. The test includes mostly basic and a few advanced questions on structural engineering and ETABS.

✔ Must be enrolled in a university within the Asia-Pacific region

Outstanding students were recognized with cash prizes in both undergraduate and postgraduate categories:
🏅 1st Prize: 50,000 THB
🥈 Runner-up: 30,000 THB
This is a competitive event designed to challenge and showcase the skills of civil engineering students. It focuses on important areas like modeling, analysis and design of a specified building structure. Participants will be using ETABS developed by Computers and Structures Inc. (CSI) used for the analysis and design of building structures.
