Computers and Structures Inc., CSI Bangkok, and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) are jointly organizing a building design quest using ETABS. This academic competition or hackathon is open to undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students from universities across the Asia-Pacific region.
The hackathon encourages students to apply design concepts in a real-world scenario, promoting practical learning, collaboration, and innovation
The top 10 students will be selected for an exclusive dinner with Dr. Ashraf Habibullah, President and CEO of Computers and Structures, Inc. Students can take this time to engage in meaningful conversation, gain insights into the profession, and learn directly from one of the leading figures in structural engineering software development.

✔ Open to all undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students
✔ Must be currently enrolled in a university within the Asia-Pacific region
✔ Take and pass the qualifying test
📝 Application deadline: Friday, May 2nd, 2025
📋 Qualifying Test: 5th May – 12th May 2025 | Registered students will receive an email with a link to the online qualifying test. The test includes mostly basic and a few advanced questions on structural engineering and ETABS.

This is a competitive event designed to challenge and showcase the skills of civil engineering students. It focuses on important areas like modeling, analysis and design of a specified building structure. Participants will be using ETABS developed by Computers and Structures Inc. (CSI) used for the analysis and design of building structures.
